The institute publishes a quarterly, IIE News Letter, to disseminate information about the various schemes launched by promotional and developmental organizations and also to focus on the activities of the Institute. The Newsletter has become a source of information for prospective and existing entrepreneurs of the region and a media for focusing the activities of the IIE trained entrepreneurs.

The faculties of the Institute often write and publish books on Entrepreneurship and related topics to promote the topic Entrepreneurship in India and North East India particularly. 
The Institute published two book named Entrepreneurship Development in the North East and Promoting New Entrepreneurs during the year (containing edited papers of a national seminar on Entrepreneurship Development organized by the Institute during 1998-99). Both the books are written by Dr. D. D. Mali, the director of the Institute and Mr. Goutam Dutta.
