Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Guwahati the only national institute with its headquarters in North Eastern Region celebrated its 22nd Foundation Day with a two day long programme in its premises. The occasion of pre-foundation day on 31st March, 2015 was graced by Guest Speaker ,Professor Dipak C. Jain, Former Dean, Kellogs School of Management, Chicago and present Director of Sasin Management School in Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. He enthralled the gathering with his thought provoking speech on different aspects of management and its evolution over the years. He stressed on the need of promotion of entrepreneurial society as a model for holistic socio-economic development of the region. The deliberation was followed by an interactive session with entrepreneurs, students, academia and other dignitaries present. .

     The Foundation Day on 1st April, 2015 started with a theme song of IIE. The Director, IIE addressed the gathering about the journey of the institute so far and its significant activities and achievements. He also assured of further dedication on the part of the organisation for enhancement of entrepreneurial spirit amongst the youth of the region. The highlight of the day was the Foundation Day speech delivered by Sri Alok B.Shriram, President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi and Deputy Managing Director, DCM Shriram Industries Limited.He shared his views on different aspects on entrepreneurship emphasizing the importance of North East having potential for entrepreneurial growth and an economic hub

     To commemorate the occasion of the Foundation Day, an unique initiative of installation of Time Capsule was taken to archive the events, activities and achievements of IIE over the past two decades.  The celebration came to an end with a cultural evening.
