A state of the art Information Technology Centre has been set up with the help of CMC Ltd, Kolkata. The Centre is going to be the nerve-centre for  storage,  analysis  and  retrieval  of    every  kind  of  information related to the industrial and entrepreneurial arena of India in general and the North-East in particular. The institute building has been networked with state of the art local area network (LAN)

At present Library & Documentation and Finance & Accounting departments have computerised. The Institute has already launched its website- www.iie.nic.in.

               Work on an Industrial Data Bank which will collect, collate, store and analyse information related to the industry and entrepreneurs is going on.
